The Sperry Rail service car #147 makes an appearance at CP22. They're switching tracks and heading east to the Framingham Secondary Track, for some work. 9/98
All the tracks are loaded at Nevins' Yard, this morning. They're gonna have to move something! ML482 and SEBO haven't even arrived yet! And...SEFR is right behind! The power is for WARE1. 9/98
These handsome EMD EMDSD80MACs #4125 and 4126, fresh off of WAFR35, from Middleboro, prepare to take FRSE west, to Selkirk, NY. They're heading west through to the west end of the yard. 9/98

B23-7 #1998 wears the number which signifies the last year of operation for the latest "fallen Flag" - Conrail. For 23 years I have enjoyed watching and photographing "Big Blue". Though the paint will last a couple of years, She'll be gone soon. But I will always remember 1998 - "It was a very good year"
Conrail Quality, SD80MAC #4126, backs onto his train at CP22, Framingham, MA. The conductor, stands ready to call for the "three step protection", check the hitch and and connect the air hoses. The MACs are truly "Cadillacs."

Conrail WARE1, is heading east on track 3 to enter #5 yard and "loop the train. He's gonna head west for Canton and Stoughton, today! 9/98.
Conrail, WARE1, passes through Readville Station. Another 1/4 mile to the signal. Then, he'll come west into the 5 yard lead, "loop" the train and come back out to the main. 9/98
Conrail's SD50 #6719 idles at Beacon Park Yard, ready for an assignment west. She's been sanded and fueled inspected and made ready. The SD50 was the first of the 16V710G powered engines.
