Trail ML482 passes CP43 in Worcester Yard. She has 2 SD80macs, 2 C30-7a's and 2 GP40-2's. 22,000hp! Notice that the rear of the 3385 is stenciled "NYC"! She'll be going to CSX. This is the FIRST engine that I saw stenciled with the NYC reporting marks. 7/98.
EMD GP40-2 #3385, with a NEW dynamic brake cooling fan and "NYC" reporting marks trots through CP43 at Worcester. She's destined for CSX. And...ready to go! With standard Conrail markings, I snapped her on 7/98.
EMD SD80MAC #4111 looks great as she cruises through CP43, at the east end of Worcester Yard. The engineer blasted the horns and waved. Wished that I had my Video camera running! The SD80MAC is common to Conrail ONLY! Their 5,000hp, will climb the Berkshires WITHOUT helpers!
General Electric B23-7 #1959 works the Worcester Yard. Her job is to feed the TOFC cars to the unloader, 1/2 mile west of CP43. "Conrail Quality" on the nose. Just "Conrail" on the rear. The paintjobs are as varied as the power on Conrail!
GE B23-7 #1959, in another pose, reveals the beautiful design of the late 1970's GE locomotives! She's running great after her 20 years and looks equally as good in her "Conrail Quality" paint job. 07/98.
Heading west to pick up another cut of "pigs" Conrail B23-7 #1959 shows the lack of the word "Quality" on her rear hood end. She was painted at the Juniata Shops, Altoona, PA. 7/98 (worcester Yard).

SEFR, a train that originates at Selkirk, NY and terminates at Framingham, MA., passes through CP43 at Worcester Yard. 2 EMD SD80MAC's are solidly in-charge. The picture's a little dark. But, the sight was awesome by the Worcester twilight! 7/98.
EMD SD80MACs 4111 and 4104 pass CP43 at Worcester Yard, MA. Their command of this train is UNDISPUTED! The SD80MACs reign SUPREME on The Conrail Boston Line! Plus...the look real pretty!
