Just having a little fun with geometry, I shot this photo at Beacon Park engine house, Boston, MA. in 1977 All the different angles in one shot seemed interesting. SD40-2's and GP40-2's mingle between assignments.
This close-up, reveals the "Spartan" cab detail of Conrail EMD, GP40-2 #3299. She's idleing at Beacon Park enginehouse in spring 1978. Note that "Beacon Park" appears on the control box as the maintenance depot. A Penn Central carry-over!
