Fresh from Toledo, via Selkirk, ML482, recrewed at West Springfield enters Nevins' Yard, CP22, Framingham, MA. She'll headpin and head for Beacon Park, cab-light.
How handsome are these GE noses? Brutish and Boxy make them all the more appealing. The sound doesn't hurt, either. Train ML482 at CP22 arrives on a warmish April mid-morning.
Hastily but tastefully re-stenciled, Norfolk Southern, ex-Conrail GE B23-7 #4083, sits at her frequently assigned spot in Readville Yard, It's NOT June first YET! First sign of the impending "Day One" here.
At my former favorite trainwatching spot (until it became overgrown), The Trainwatching Vette and I enjoy a view of Readville's #1 Yard and Conrail GE B23-7 #1981. She needs paint. But, Never fear, the merger is near!
The power from train SERE is visible with C30-7A #6580 in the lead at Readville's #1 Yard. Their Cargo during the night included new rapid transit cars for the MBTA's Red Line. These new traction cars sit atop flatcars.
