Train N001-16 near Yukon FLFairly New GE CW60AC #600 and #602 and an EMD SD50 pull the Bostwick (Palatke) Coal train over the St. John's River near Yukon FL. (South of Jax on the A-Line) The train itself originates on the Appalachicola Northern. 0835hrs 17/NOV/96.



CSXT GE CW60AC #602Train #N168-27 passes through Sanford FL. with CSXT GE CW60AC #601 on the point. Sister GE, #116 helps out, as the sun goes down. 1930hrs 02/May98.



CSXT GE CW60AC #601No, That's not fog! It's smoke from the fires that burned throughout Fl. in June and July '98. CSXT 602 pulls the Bostwick Coal Train N001-22 thru the mess with NO PROBLEMS! shot on St.John's Bridge near Yukon on the A-Line. 1135hrs 23 June.



CSXT GE B40-8 #7568Juice train #K650-04, led by GE B40-8 #7568 and a sister, normally routed on CSXT's S-Line, detours through Sanford, FL. on The A-Line. Pictured 1740hrs 04/Mar/98.



CSXT GE C44-9W #9017Southbound juice train #Q409-15 hauls her empties through Wildwood, FL. Those GE's look really nice in the CSX colors. These engines are monsters! Shown on 17/June/98.

CSXT's SD70M's sometimes venture into Florida. This is an Orlando Utilities train #N168-10, sitting at the plant. 15/March/98. This is one handsome locomotive!




Soo Line SD60M #6063 on K818-09These empty SHLX hoppers on train K818-09, are headed back to Alberta, Canada. They were photographed, being pulled by Soo Line power just north of Lochloosa, FL. The Soo SD60M's are common visitors! 0850hrs 09/OCT/98.

UP power on Train Q603-21Train Q603-21 is departing Winston (Lakeland) Florida with a Union Pacific, Long "snout" SD40-2 #3411 and Rio Grande and Norfolk Southern Power! 0855hrs 21/Oct/98.



Conrail C40-8W and SD50 on CSXTTrain Q603-06 is departing Winston (Lakeland) Florida with two Conrail Units. It is believed that they are run-through power, possibly leased to UP. This is, However a soon to be common sight on CSXT! 0755hrs 06/NOV/98.



ex-Amtrak F40PH #374 is Florida Fun TrainThe Florida Fun Train is at the Poinciana FL Depot. This picture was shot one week after the start-up of the fun train service. Picture taken 21 October 1997. Those are some fun colors! I can hear the 645 idleing away!
