Those magnificent...

A westbound Franklin Local pulls into The Historic Walpole Station. It is on the National register of Historical places. There is a Conrail interchange yard adjacent to this station.

An MBTA GP40mc #1136, with a westbound Franklin local, pulls into Norwood Central Station. The engine is one of 40 bought by the MBTA from Canadian National. The Station is CNE/New Haven!
Here is a closer view to the Norwood Central station, Norwood, Ma. It is the second busiest station on the MBTA "south side". Route 128 ranks first. This station is a typical New Haven design.
Here is a view of the front of the Walpole Passenger station. It is taken from the north side of the Framingham Secondary Track. A beautiful Central New England RR station! Built 1883.
Here's another nice view of the Walpole MBTA Station. She has been meticulously restored and maintained. There's a snack bar inside, as well as a waiting room. So typically New England!

Norwood Central Station, shown here, was always an important stop on the Franklin Branch. In the Central New England and New Haven (Woonsocket Division)days, passengers could buy tickets for Many destinations in MA, CT, and RI from this station.
A westbound, Franklin local is stopped in the station at Walpole. in the distant right, the Conrail, Walpole terminal, trailers can be seen. Conrail trains WAWP1 and WAWP2 originate from this location.
This is The Box Car Restaurant, located on Route 2 in Erving, MA. It is a former Boston and Maine passenger station, alongside the well-known Erving Paper Products mills in that pretty north central Massachusetts town.
