Florida Color! introduces...

On Friday, 14 Jan 2000, FEC GP40 #406 was transformed into FEC2000 at Green Cove Springs (CSXT's A-Line) to commemorate the new millenium and the company's refreshed image.
     The engine ran on train #101 on 17 Jan., as 202 on 18 Jan and as 125 on 19 Jan., before going to the shops at New Smyrna Beach for some revisions. On 24 Jan., the hurricane logo was added on the long hood. On 25 Jan. the unit stepped out of the shops for it's first photographs. For which, I was present! She's absolutely gorgeous!
